The Kirkpatrick Family Fund, founded by John and Eleanor Kirkpatrick in 1989, supports charitable, civic, and cultural causes that impact citizens in central Oklahoma and beyond. In the last 25 years, the Kirkpatrick Family Fund has funded organizations and programs across many areas of need, contributing more than $80 million to nearly 650 qualified nonprofit organizations that work tirelessly to address the greatest needs in their communities.

“Through the Kirkpatrick Family Fund’s support, The Education and Employment Ministry (TEEM) provides reentry services and job training opportunities for justice-involved individuals,” said Kris Steele, Executive Director – TEEM. “Program participants receive case management services, cognitive behavior instruction, employment skills, and job placement assistance. TEEM’s partnership with the Kirkpatrick Family Fund is key to transforming lives and strengthening Oklahoma’s families and communities. They are making a lasting impact in breaking cycles of poverty and improving the quality of life for all Oklahomans.”

“With budget cuts to schools forcing the elimination of field trips to theatre performances and economic instability limiting community arts engagement, along with limited public funding, the support provided through the Kirkpatrick Family Fund reaffirms their trust in our stewardship of their funding,” said Lyn Adams, Executive Director – Oklahoma Children’s Theatre. “The funding assists school groups to be transported to live theatre, allows children to participate in free afterschool theatre arts programming, opportunities for thousands of children to enjoy affordable summer camps and creative classes, and enables rural school children to enjoy theatre performances. Kirkpatrick Family Fund dollars touch thousands of little lives in so many creative and positive ways.”

“The grant from the Kirkpatrick Family Fund provides seed money for the Arts Partnership with Oklahoma City Public Schools,” said Peter Dolese, Executive Director – Arts Council of Oklahoma City. “With these funds, this partnership will be able to provide quality arts programming to eight different schools. The Arts Council of Oklahoma City is thrilled that our ‘All Access Arts’ program will be able to help shape this initiative to bring arts and the community together.”

“We are incredibly grateful for the Kirkpatrick Family Fund’s support of ReMerge and our commitment to helping incarcerated women in Oklahoma County provide a better life for themselves and their families,” said Terri Woodland, Executive Director – ReMerge.

“This year’s grantees have tremendous vision and commitment to strengthening our community,” said Christian Keesee. “The legacy set forth by my grandparents, John and Eleanor Kirkpatrick, inspires me daily to remain steadfast in honoring their philanthropic vision.”

Project support for small grants ($10,000 or less) and matching grant requests are on a rolling quarterly deadline of October 1, January 2, April 1, and July 1. General operating and large grant applications will be accepted biannually on March 1 and September 1.
